Cabo Corrubedo
Beim Leuchtturm am Cabo Corrubedo sind am Samstagabend viele Menschen, um den Sonnenuntergang zu verfolgen. Mitte Dezember ist es fast frühlingshaft mild, im T-Shirt können wir uns hier bewegen. Und es ist windstill, dennoch rollt hier eine starke Brandung heran. Welle um Welle explodiert an den wild zerklüfteten Klippen. Je näher der Zeitpunkt kommt, an dem die Sonne unter den Horizont sinkt, desto mehr leuchtet die Gischt in orange und rosa. Kaum ist sie „abgetaucht“, wird der Leuchtturm aktiv.
On Saturday evening, many people gather at the lighthouse at Cabo Corrubedo to watch the sunset. In mid-December, it is almost spring-like and mild, and we can walk around in T-shirts. There is no wind, but the surf is strong. Wave after wave explodes against the wildly jagged cliffs. The closer the sun gets to sinking below the horizon, the more the spray glows orange and pink. As soon as it has ‘dived’, the lighthouse springs into action.
